Hi, I'm Nina and this is my blog. This is a place where I will share bits and pieces that I like from all over the place - fashion, beauty, art. Some of it will be new work I've done, some of it will be work other people have done and some will just be stuff I like and hope you will too.

USA-China meeting in the White house with Alexander McQueen
Michelle Obama was representing USA at a state dinner last night in honor of the man who is one of her husband's biggest rivals on the world stage -Chinese president Hu Jintao. So normally it would be forgiven if we expected her to choose an American designer.
But the First Lady has once again made a daring fashion choice, appearing in a fiery red gown by British designer Alexander McQueen.

Golden globes 2011 - what was hot and what was not
And the elegant ones.
And the miss of the year! Goes to Julia Kurbatova. Nice surname :)
Helena Bonham Carter showed her style once again, with some cherry on top shoes.
The greens and reds.
The blues and yellow/golden gowns. Nice, finally some more color.
The whites or silverish colors this year showed some nice gowns, though nothing extra special. Except Tilda Swinton of course, again showing of her unique style with lots of humor.
This year we saw some great (traditional) black gowns walking down the red carpet. Here is a selection of the best of them.
