Marchesa - amazing catwalk on NYFW

Marchesa is the latest addiction in fashion. Behind the fabulous dresses are British born Georgina and Keren, who met at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Their friendship resulted in a business partnership and the the establishment of Marchesa in 2004. Elegant eveningwear, inspired by vintage and Asian influences, defines the Marchesa Collection. The beautifully crafted designs fuse high fashion with an eclectic aesthetic. Co-founded by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the company’s namesake and muse, Marchesa Luisa Casati, is the noted eccentric European style icon.

Kelly Osbourne looking hot!

I never thought I would ever say this, but Kelly Osbourne looks damn hot on this photo taken last night at the Tracy Reese Spring 2011 show!!! Last week Tv channel E! announced Kelly is now among judges on their popular show Fashion Police and I wasn't that sure about the choice really. Not so much for her looks as for usual fashion statements, which were far from trendy and sexy. However her new look got sexy and confident. After losing weight and adapting a sophisticated new style, she can easily mingle with the rest of the hotties, like Denise Richards. I wonder who looks better though.

Victoria Beckham hits NYFW with a bang

Now for a record, I am not a fan of The Beckhams, though I did publish quite a nice number of posts about the two. However I have to give credit to Victoria Beckham who (it turns out) is turning herself into a high profile fashion designer. Withe the latest fashion show for SS 2011, she made a huge ultra positive press storm and she deserves it. Faces of New York Fashion Week

From September 9 to 15 New York City’s Bryant Park will once again be the world’s center for fashion. While designers will be introducing their spring/summer 2011 ideas, we focused on new model faces, who will be presenting new trends. Doutzen, Anja, Lakshimi will this year be joined by Bambi, Fei Fei and Kat. These are just some of the new names we will be seeing next week. During this weekend casting directors will be deciding whom they want on their runways. Most desired trend today is toward pouty lips, thick eyebrows, curves and a bit of a pale androgynous look.

Next week it will all be about the “girls”. So stay tuned.
